The Wall Street Journal and Real Trends named McGeough Lamacchia Realty one of the Top Real Estate Teams in America for the second year in a row. McGeough Lamacchia Realty rose to number 53 in national rank for Real Estate Teams for 2011, up from number 59 in 2010.
McGeough Lamacchia Realty also made the Top 100 Teams by Transaction Volume, at rank 93 with total sales of $76,981,596.00, an increase in volume of 24% from 2010.

In January of this year, McGeough Lamacchia announced they sold more homes in Massachusetts than any other agents or teams in 2011. With 322 sales under the McGeough Lamacchia Team in MLS for 2011, they increased their sales 10% from 2010. The McGeough Lamacchia Team had additional sales in New Hampshire and Rhode Island, which resulted in a total of 397 closed transaction sides for the year.

Earlier this year, McGeough Lamacchia Realty expanded their office space by 1100 square feet in response to the increase in customers and sales. They added another company vehicle to their fleet and hired additional employees. McGeough Lamacchia Realty also dedicated more time training their entire staff to ensure everyone would perform at the highest level.
Real Trends, a publishing, consulting and communications company based in Boulder, Colorado, provides analysis and information on the residential brokerage and housing industry. They teamed up with the Wall Street Journal to compile a list of the Top Real Estate Agents and Teams in the United States.
The REAL Trends 500 report identifies the country’s largest and most successful residential firms as ranked by closed transaction sides and separately by closed sales volume. A real estate team is defined as two or more licensed sales associates who combine sales for awards or commission sharing in any fashion.
