Touchstone Semiconductor, a developer of high-performance, low power analog integrated circuit products, today announced that Barry L. Cox has been appointed Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Cox brings more than 45 years of leadership experience in the semiconductor industry. He has held senior management positions including President, CEO and Chairman of the Board at several private and public corporations. In addition to Touchstone, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Pixelworks and Audience. He has served on the Board of Directors of 18 corporations and been involved in four public offerings, two secondary offerings and 11 acquisitions at these companies. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the US Air Force Academy and a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University.
