Digital Sports group announced today that all eight track day events sold via Trackdays.co.uk that were operating at various track day circuits up and down the Country were un-interrupted by the heavy showers. The events, which included track days at Snetterton in Norfolk and Blyton Park in Lincolnshire all went ahead without a hitch with largely dry track conditions.
Dan Jones, Operations Manager for Trackdays.co.uk said ‘bad weather is the bane of any track day company or enthusiast and with conditions as they are in the UK it’s always a gamble to commit to an event. Last April the weather was fantastic but this year we are seeing a lot more rain and we were worried that heavy rain could interrupt some of the events that were running up and down the Country. We had eight advertised events for sale with hundreds of customers heading to various Circuits but thankfully the weather held out and for a few we had large spells of sunshine’
The eight events that took place included 2 track days at Anglesey and single events at Castle Combe, Hullavington, Snetterton, Lydden, Santapod and Blyton Park. To view the rest of the April track days visit the Trackdays.co.uk website.
