Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT and Business training, today announced the availability of three SonicWALL training courses: Network Security Essentials Administrator Training, SonicWALL Email Security Administrator Training, and Secure Remote Access Administrator Training.

In the two-day Essentials course, formerly SonicOS Enhanced or CSSA 2, students will learn to design, implement, and troubleshoot SonicWALL security appliances running SonicOS Enhanced firmware. Students will become familiar with Unified Threat Management, Single Sign On, VPN, Secure Wireless, and Content Filtering as well as examine the SonicOS security features and diagnostic tools.

The two-day Email Security course teaches students to deploy, configure, and maintain SonicWALL Email Security in a company email system. Multiple email threat techniques and prevention mechanisms will be covered in detail. Students will also learn the DNS, SMTP, POP, and IMAP protocols involved in mail delivery, as well as the LDAP protocol used by email security. Training includes both basic theory and diagnostics tools.

The three-day Secure Remote Access course provides instruction on the administration and management of the SSL VPN appliance to enable secure, anywhere access to applications and resources for employees, business partners, and other users. Students will learn to use the Aventail Management Console and deploy Aventail Secure Desktop for added security. Upon completing the class, students will have the opportunity to take the Aventail Certified Professional exam to achieve the Certified SonicWALL Security Administrator (CSSA) certification.
