The newly opened Executive Conference & Training Center (ECTC) in Dulles, VA has launched a first-of-its-kind loyalty program for meeting planners called, “Executive Rewards.”
Executive Rewards is designed specifically for meeting planners and coordinators that book meetings, conferences, and training sessions in the Washington, DC area. The program leverages the ECTC’s relationship with its neighboring partner hotel brands and takes advantage of the loyalty programs of the three major brands: Marriott Rewards, Hilton Honors, and IHG’s Priority Club.
“We didn’t want to re-invent the wheel,” says the ECTC Dulles’ Director of Sales, Matt Hurst. “We have great relationships with our partner hotels, which are right next door, so leveraging their existing rewards programs makes a lot of sense. Plus, this gives our meeting planners the flexibility to choose how they want to be rewarded and doesn’t require them to sign up for yet another program.”
Executive Rewards simply uses the points of the meeting planner’s preferred loyalty program, such as Marriott Rewards or Priority Club, by offering up to 5 points for every dollar spent on a meeting. This northern Virginia conference center offers perks and incentives for all members just for signing up, such as a $50 gift card to O’Malley’s Pub in Sterling, VA on the member’s birthday, as well as free entrance to the ECTC’s annual holiday party, and the chance to win an iPad 2. After that, meeting planners get rewarded based on the number of meetings or conferences they book in a given year at the ECTC Dulles. For more information on how the program works and to sign up for your chance to win an iPad 2, see the ECTC Dulles’ Executive Rewards web page.
The reason why the ECTC Dulles is able to offer such a flexible and convenient rewards program is because of its relationship and proximity to four Dulles partner hotels, all within 1/8 of a mile of the conference center:
- Hampton Inn & Suites Dulles (Hilton Honors) – the ECTC Dulles is just across the street from this newly built northern VA hotel
- Holiday Inn Dulles (Priority Club) – less than a five minute walk from the ECTC, this is the closest full-service hotel to the conference center and is only 2 miles from the airport
- SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dulles (Marriott Rewards) – this Dulles, VA hotel is a recent winner of Platinum Hotel of the Year award
- TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dulles (Marriott Rewards) – ideal for extended-stay guests and long-term corporate housing in northern Virginia
The Dulles, VA Executive Conference & Training Center just opened in January, and is a state-of-the-art, 20,000 square foot northern Virginia meeting and training venue that includes flexible meeting and conference space for up to 500 attendees; five over-sized, private, rentable offices; as well as a large communal dining area for conference and meeting attendees to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The IACC-certified ECTC Dulles training center features eight meeting rooms and provides all-inclusive meeting packages for companies and agencies looking for a first class training facility in northern Virginia, as well as all needed support services.
