Marilu Oliver, Managing Director of Operations for Staff Management, led the company's Customer Service Week initiative to recognize and reward Staff Management employees for the outstanding service that they provide to Staff Management clients around the world. The week long celebration included various recognition events including a wellness day, an appreciation luncheon, team spotlights on Staff Management's employee website and customer supplied appreciation gifts.

Oliver researched and interviewed companies with a presence in the Chicago area to deliver a customer service training workshop to kick off the Customer Service Week celebration. "I ultimately selected TrainSmart because I appreciated their ability to customize their training program to align with the critical customer service functions that our departments provide for our clients and because they can deliver an exciting, engaging and educational training event," said Oliver.

Anne Harlow, Senior Consultant for TrainSmart, designed a custom Customer Service Workshop which was highly interactive and included topics such as: Communication Blunders, Communication Styles, Email Etiquette, Telephone Etiquette, Problem Solving and Implementing Best Practices.

"Participants appreciated the fun, efficient and content-rich presentation," said Oliver. "They were also pleased to find that the skills they took away could be applied at home as well as at work."
