Beijing, China (PRWEB) August 27, 2014

Today at the Beijing International Book Fair, Trajectory, Inc., CNPIEC and Amazon announced the availability of Berrett-Koehler’s catalogue of eBooks for readers in China.

According to Johanna Vondeling, Vice President of International Sales and Business Development for Berrett-Koehler, “We’re delighted to be working with Trajectory to help bring our eBooks to market in China. This collaboration is for us a unique and exciting opportunity to share our mission of ‘creating a world that works for all’ with readers in this dynamic country.”

China Daily reports that more than 300 million Chinese already are studying English—nearly one quarter of the country’s population. And in the next five years, many schools will begin teaching English in kindergarten, and state employees younger than 40 will be required to master at least 1,000 English phrases.

“China is one of the most important emerging markets for English language titles and our multi-channel approach is well suited for publishers wishing to gain exposure here,” said Jim Bryant, Trajectory’s CEO. “Our distribution partners here are quite interested in expanding their catalogues with business and economic collections in English.”

The Berrett-Koehler catalogue includes best sellers such as: The Idea-Driven Organization by Alan G. Robinson (and others); Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins; The Heart of Leadership by Mark Miller; Execution IS the Strategy by Laura Stack; It's the Way You Say It by Carol Fleming; Eat That Frog! By Brian Tracy; The Anatomy of Peace by The Arbinger Institute; Humble Inquiry by Edgar H. Schein and Leadership and Self-Deception by The Arbinger Institute.
