Trango dons a fresh new logo while also changing its name to its original incorporated name, "Trango Systems." The new modern brand identity better supports Trango's current course towards manufacturing licensed microwave wireless equipment for the telecommunications carrier and operator markets, while also retaining and continuing its strong connection with its existing customers in the wireless ISP, enterprise, and security video surveillance markets.

Trango Systems new modern brand identity reflects the company's strategic shift towards manufacturing licensed microwave wireless equipment for the telecommunications carrier and operator markets.

The new brand identity reflects the Trango of today, as well as the Trango of yesterday

Trango Systems, also widely known as Trango Broadband Wireless, leading global developer of high-capacity licensed and unlicensed fixed wireless microwave communication systems, today announced the unveiling of a new corporate logo. The new insignia also effectively renames the company back to its original incorporated name of "Trango Systems" and eliminates the previous name "Trango Broadband Wireless" under which the company has been doing business as since launching its broadband wireless internet access equipment, 7 years ago in 2001.

Launching the new identity follows in step with the company's strategic shift of 2007 to build upon more than a decade of experience of microwave wireless engineering and to expand its product offerings to include licensed microwave point-to-point networking equipment. This tactical move was made to answer the growing demand for large-capacity and long-range bandwidth needed by fixed, mobile, and broadband operators. Trango's latest licensed wireless product lines offer high-capacity full duplex symmetrical transport bandwidth, up to 730+ megabits per second, for a wide range of broadband and telecommunications applications including carrier Ethernet, 2G/3G/4G mobile backhaul, WiMAX backhaul, Internet service provider (ISP) solutions, broadcast, enterprise wireless extensions, municipal and government wireless connectivity, including leased line DS1/DS3/OC-3 replacement, and video surveillance for Homeland Security and public safety.

"Trango's new brand reflects not only who we are, but where we're going," said Zdravko Divjak, president and CEO of Trango Systems, Inc. "Our new logo aligns much better with our direction into carrier-grade microwave wireless systems. With our move last year to offer high-capacity licensed microwave links, we are very well positioned to answer the increasing bandwidth demand created by new and growing broadband networks worldwide. We felt it was time to update our look, so we evolved our current logos into a cleaner, more modern identity which fits well into the telecom space, harmonizes well with our future course, and simplifies our name for our customers' benefit and for internal benefits."

Mr. Divjak continued, "Everyone calls us by 'Trango' for short anyway, so moving to a simpler and shorter name makes a lot of sense to us. To that end, the new design better emphasizes 'Trango' with more visual weight and also retains our original 'Systems' which better portrays the wide range and diversity of our products--which is perhaps the most important part of this change. We feel that 'Systems' more accurately conveys the completeness of our product lines since we offer the ultimate complement of wireless radios, that being both licensed and unlicensed spectrums and for both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint systems."

"The new brand identity reflects the Trango of today, as well as the Trango of yesterday," said Mr. Divjak. "Over the years, 'Trango' has become synonymous with 'broadband' and with 'wireless video' and our valued long-time customers will be glad to know that we will continue to provide them with the same high-performance radios, outstanding support, and the best value in the industry for all of our product lines, from our analog video unlicensed wireless transmission systems, to our extremely robust and popular unlicensed broadband wireless access systems, to our latest carrier class licensed microwave point-to-point systems."

Mr. Divjak added, "Our customers and partners have always connected with what Trango stands for--high performance wireless solutions with the durability, easy management, and low true cost of ownership that creates the highest value in the market. We will continue to build upon these qualities that we have cultivated for many years, and our new brand identity fully reflects this ongoing ethos."

Trango has already revealed the new logo this week at the trade event Carrier Ethernet World Congress (CEWC) in Berlin, Germany (September 22-25) where the company will be exhibiting in stand number 4. Other trade shows around the world where the new logo will appear are WiMAX World (booth 527) in Chicago, Illinois (October 1-2) where Trango will also present a complimentary full day of technical certification wireless training at the Hilton Chicago on October 2; GITEX Technology Week (booth Z-L20) October 19-23 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Conference & Expo Center; WCA International Symposium & Business Expo (booth 202) November 4-6 in San Jose, California (wireless training in San Jose, CA) at the Fairmont Hotel; and AfricaCom (booth C13c) November 18-19 in Cape Town, South Africa at the Cape Town Convention Center.

The new Trango Systems logo is available for download on Trango's Media Kit page of the Web site, for use by the media and by Trango integrators and resellers for use on their own Web sites, blogs, or other marketing materials.
