"The Global Outsourcing 100 is the only guide to help companies research and compare service providers with whom they are considering outsourcing relationships." IAOP CEO, Debi Hamill.
Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) March 05, 2013
Transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) has been selected for the Global Outsourcing 100 announced by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (hereinafter IAOP). This is the fourth consecutive selection since transcosmos’ first in 2010.
The purpose of the Global Outsourcing 100 and the World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors is to identify the top outsourcing advisor and advisors in the world. This ranking is determined by an independent panel formed by the IAOP which stringently evaluates each company’s entry.
"Global competition is at an all time high, which is reflected in this year’s rankings," said IAOP CEO, Debi Hamill. "This comes at a time when companies that outsource are scrutinizing their providers more closely. The Global Outsourcing 100 is the only guide to help companies research and compare service providers with whom they are considering outsourcing relationships.”
“As applicants continually raise the bar and as the outsourcing industry continues to grow and mature in many markets, competition is tougher,” said Jag Dalal, Managing Director of Thought Leadership, IAOP and chairman of the judges' panel. “Being named to The Global Outsourcing 100 and The World's Best Outsourcing Advisors is a great achievement, particularly given the strong competition, and we are proud to recognize transcosmos for their excellence.”
"As 2013 begins to see moderate growth in the economy, choosing the right outsourcing partners will be more important than ever," said IAOP Chairman Michael Corbett. “The Global Outsourcing 100 and the World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors lists help companies easily identify partners that will help them emerge as leaders."
Transcosmos has developed and provides services that respond to the needs of its customers by being one step ahead of the outsourcing industry market’s movements, allowing the company to respond to the need for maximized sales, cost reduction and globalization of its clients. The selection of transcosmos for the Global Outsourcing 100 is thought of as a recognition of these results.
Transcosmos’ entry into the Indonesian market is an example of global outsourcing performance in 2012. The company intends to establish PT Transcosmos Indonesia following its recent agreement on the establishment of a joint venture company to provide call center services in Indonesia with the Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group’s IT subsidiary Cyberindo Aditama. Furthermore, in addition to the call center services and digital marketing services currently operating in Korea and China, transcosmos will further expand its services to support maximization of sales for its clients.
In an effort to move on cost reductions, transcosmos has also expanded its BPO operations in China. Not only has transcosmos inherited equity interest from Kokuyo Co., Ltd. of Kokuyo Store Creation Commerce Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Dalian Brancha subsidiary that develops BPO operations in China, but Kokuyo Group has also transferred management of its back-office operations, such as HR, general affairs and accounting to transcosmos. Due to such efforts, Kokuyo Group has been able to increase management efficiency and production capacity..
Further, in order to strengthen service in the English and European language regions transcosmos has undertaken operational and capital tie-ups with a general interactive agency, Geary LSF Group, which has offices in the United States and Europe. transcosmos is cooperating to offer digital marketing services to clients entering the English and European language markets.
Transcosmos group strives to be a global IT partner to our customers and continues to provide high quality services on a global scale.
