New Patent-Pending Technology for DVD Option Distinguishes Release of Automatic Video-Transcript Syncing Software

This newest version of TimeCoder gives our customers even more options for syncing than ever before. You can even encode and sync directly from AVI/DV files in version 5.2, eliminating costly MPEG encoding hardware.

inData Corporation has released TimeCoder® Pro Version 5.2, its newest video and transcript synchronization software widely used by legal videographers, court reporters, and law firms. TimeCoder Pro automatically synchronizes transcripts and video depositions using advanced speech and pattern recognition up to sixty three (63) times faster than realtime.

TimeCoder Pro v5.2 has the ability to encode, synchronize, and export MPEG-2 and DVD-Video (VOB) media files. Other new features include improved short answer syncing accuracy and Mac® support in Boot Camp, Parallels, and VMware Fusion environments running Microsoft Windows® XP or Vista.

The highlight of the TimeCoder Pro v5.2 release, however, is new patent-pending DVD technology. TimeCoder Pro users can author a DepoView® DVD, a new hybrid DVD/software tool for viewing video depositions.

DepoView DVD enables lawyers and litigation professionals to view video depositions and associated transcripts on a standard DVD player or personal computer. Utilizing patent-pending technology, DepoView DVD is the only product that will display the transcript in addition to video footage on DVD, enabling attorneys to review transcripts on a television when a computer isn't readily available.

DepoView DVD provides three options when played on a standard DVD player: (1) review the video deposition; (2) read the entire transcript, or (3) jump directly to a selected page in the transcript or video.

Each DepoView DVD comes with a complimentary download of DepoView software for viewing and editing video on a PC.    Using DepoView software, legal professionals can search for keywords in the transcript, create video clips for trial, print condensed transcripts, send selected segments to Microsoft PowerPoint, and more.

"We've seen the increasing use of higher quality MPEG-2 video files in the courtroom over the past few years." said Derek Miller, CEO and President of inData Corporation. "This newest version of TimeCoder gives our customers even more options for syncing than ever before. You can even encode and sync directly from AVI/DV files in version 5.2, eliminating costly MPEG encoding hardware. "

TimeCoder Pro v5.2 is a free upgrade for licensees of TimeCoder Pro versions 4.0-5.1. For more information about TimeCoder Pro, contact inData at 800-828-8292 or visit inData's Web site at http://www.indatacorp.com.
