Royal Caribbean International owned Cruise1st has launched a dedicated website aimed at homing in on the Orlando market. Orlando1st works in conjunction with the dynamic packaging option offered by Traveltek. The site will predominantly sell Orlando holidays with the option to add a Cruise at either end of a stay however; clients will also have the opportunity to book flight only or accommodation only across the USA.

Orlando1st is aiming to take up a percentage of the market share left vacant by the collapse of XL last year. David Rowlinson, previously with Tui UK, Gareth Evison, product manager for Travel City and Ian Moore, Call Centre Manager for Travel City, have been brought in to head up the project starting by expanding the call centre to over 50 agents within the next 2 months.

David Rowlinson, E-Commerce Manager said, "What we have gone for is simplicity, the booking journey can be completed in 5 easy steps, making it simple for clients of all ages to use. We can package using our cat35 fares and along with bed providers such as HotelBeds and Destinations of the World, 14 night packages start from only £369pp. This is excellent value compared to other closer to home destinations."

"Many people's perceptions of Orlando are usually based around the theme parks but to add a Caribbean cruise gives clients an alternative and adds something special to their already dream holiday. Holidays with a cruise add on can be obtained for as little as £699pp making the price extremely competitive in the current economic climate. Orlando is more accessible than people think and we aim to get that message back out there."

Cruise1st has built up a great reputation of giving clients value for money and the same will be adapted for Orlando1st.
