We are very pleased to be associated with an organization that provides food for hungry orphans because we know that not everyone in this world has the basic comforts of life such as a safe place to live, fresh water to drink, or enough food to eat.
Spartanburg, SC (PRWEB) September 28, 2012
“We are very pleased to be associated with an organization that provides food for hungry orphans because we know that not everyone in this world has the basic comforts of life such as a safe place to live, fresh water to drink, or enough food to eat," stated Lisa Hollett, president of Hollett™ Baby. The establishment of the Hollett™ brand of highchairs and baby accessories is focused on “making the dining experience more enjoyable for everyone.”
Rice Bowls is a non-profit organization that began in 1980 in Spartanburg, South Carolina by Dr. Alastair Walker. Although Hollett™ Baby is located in the same city, the proximity of the two entities has little to do with the decision for Hollett™ Baby to become a corporate sponsor. Rice Bowls began from a notion, or the recognition of a need (feeding hungry children) that Dr. Walker could not ignore. “Hollett™ Baby has a strong appreciation for Rice Bowl’s entrepreneurial vision to literally make bowls and have individuals use them like a coin bank; fill a bowl, fight hunger," said Lisa Hollett, president of Hollett™ Baby. In a similar entrepreneurial fashion, Stephen Hollett recognized the need for safer seating accommodations for babies and toddlers in restaurants, at home, or traveling and invented the Dual-Mate™ highchair, which safely holds a toddler and easily converts into an infant carrier stand.
As written on Rice Bowl's website, "it’s terrible when any child goes hungry, regardless of their location. We recognize that there are many children that struggle in the United States. However, in this country, impoverished children do have access to local food pantries, church programs, food banks, free lunches and breakfasts at schools, and other resources. Unfortunately, orphaned children in developing countries don’t have access to any of those established resources."
There are many worthy organizations to choose from, but Hollett™ Baby developed an emotional connection with Rice Bowls. “Being an entrepreneur and inventor is not an easy endeavor, but sharing in the successes that have arisen from the efforts of a few individuals very close to me is simple. The concept behind Rice Bowls is also simple; give a little and help many children that would otherwise be left to their own devices,” said Stephen Hollett, CEO of Hollett™ Baby. With the continued success of the Hollett™ brand of highchairs and baby accessories, Hollett™ Baby would like to expand its list of organizations in which our company can continue to “pay it forward,” continued Hollett.
