Bil-Jac Introduces Treat for Puppy Training and Small Breeds

Smaller Size of Little-Jacs Dog Treats is Perfect for Puppy Training and Smaller Breeds

MEDINA, Ohio (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) November 9, 2007 -- Bil-Jac Foods Inc., manufacturer of premium pet food and pet treats, introduces Little-Jacs Liver Treats, a treat that is the ideal size for smaller dog breeds and puppy training. It's the company's first product specifically for small dogs. Consistent with Bil-Jac's nutritional philosophy of only using fresh protein sources, the dog treats are gluten meal-free and contain a combination of fresh chicken liver and chicken.

Dogs love Little-Jacs because they contain fresh chicken liver, and small dog owners feel good about giving their pet treats that are sized appropriately and made with only high-quality protein sources.
The smaller size of Little-Jacs treats accommodates the mouths of smaller breeds and puppies and prevents them from getting filled up during training. The package quantity of more than 100 dog treats is intended to last through multiple puppy training sessions and offers an exceptional value to pet owners and trainers because it's double the quantity of most other packages of pet treats.

Puppy training takes lots of love and affection, and oftentimes, a lot of dog treats to reward appropriate behaviors, said Robert Kelly, president of Bil-Jac. Dogs love Little-Jacs because they contain fresh chicken liver, and small dog owners feel good about giving their pet treats that are sized appropriately and made with only high-quality protein sources.

Bil-Jac has been making premium pet food since 1947 and has never included gluten meal as a protein source in any of its formulas. The Bil-Jac recipe includes more fresh meat than any other dry dog food on the market. It utilizes fresh chicken and fresh chicken organs as its main protein sources in a balanced formula that is designed to be easily digested and utilized by dogs. The nutritional value of this fresh protein is then protected during manufacturing with Bil-Jac's proprietary low-temperature vacuum-drying technology that avoids heat damage.

Little-Jacs Liver Treats are available with the rest of Bil-Jac's product line in pet specialty outlets and superstores, such as PetSmart, nationwide. Bil-Jac's dry product line includes Select (adult), Senior, Reduced Fat, Puppy, Large Breed Select and Large Breed Puppy formulations. The company's premium products are the preferred choice of many pet owners, show dog owners, breeders, dog trainers and dog enthusiasts.
