Tresys Technology, a provider of technology and engineering services for customers with high security requirements, today announced the release of the Tresys XD Bridge Internet Protocol (IP) and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Trusted Software Components (TSCs) for cross domain information transfer. The XD Bridge IP-TSC enables one-way transfer of IP traffic while the XD Bridge FTP-TSC provides a wide range of configurable Cross Domain Solution (CDS) transfer and filtering options for FTP and Secure FTP (SFTP) traffic. Software maintenance and support renewal plans for both TSCs are also available.
As supplementary software modules for use with the Tresys XD Bridge one-way data diode, the IP-TSC provides low latency, one-way streaming capabilities to the XD Bridge. The FTP-TSC supports file transfer via FTP or SFTP between two security enclaves. These new functionalities extend the existing security and cost-saving capabilities of the DCID 6/3 PL5 XD Bridge appliance, a flexible, high-performance, low-cost CDS designed to meet the unique requirements of specific Government, Critical Infrastructure (CI), and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) customers.
The XD Bridge’s flexible architecture enables rapid deployment of the TSC data filtering applications which are used to perform cross domain functions including network connectivity, communications with external nodes, data inspection and cleansing, and policy enforcement. This flexible architecture allows the development of TSCs without costly development and re-certification of an entire CDS.
“This is what a flexible security architecture is all about,” said Tresys CEO Gary Latham. “When we separate the applications from the policy enforcement mechanisms, we can respond very rapidly to emerging operational requirements, without the need for a complete re-evaluation of the diode.”
The XD Bridge and the new TSCs, as well as software maintenance and support renewal plans, are available on GSA Schedule GS-35F-0074SGS-35F-00745. For immediate orders or procurement support, please contact call 202-296-5505 or email sales(at)winvale(dot)com
The XD Bridge appliance and other innovative Tresys Technology XD Series Cross Domain Solution products can be viewed at the 2012 Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) Worldwide Conference, Colorado Convention Center, Denver, CO, April 1-4 at booth #757.
