Trinity Consultants, an international environmental consulting firm that specializes in industrial air quality issues, will present complimentary webinars on May 12 and May 17 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. CDT that provide an overview on new air quality regulations that will have significant impact on industry in 2011 and beyond. These presentations are provided for the benefit of environmental and operations staff responsible for maintaining environmental compliance at industrial facilities.

The presentations will cover four primary regulatory initiatives:

    1) The new National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for industrial boilers (known as the “Boiler MACT”),
    2) Recent and proposed updates to the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS),
    3) New deadlines under the Mandatory Reporting Rule for Greenhouse Gases (GHG), and
    4) GHG permitting requirements under the PSD and Title V Tailoring Rule.

For each regulatory issue, the presentation will cover applicability; emissions limits and work practice standards; monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements; regulatory deadlines; and compliance strategies.

The two webinars will be presented by Paul Greywall, PE, and a director at Trinity Consultants, who has nearly two decades of experience working with industrial facilities to address air quality issues. According to Mr. Greywall, “Trinity is pleased to be able to provide this information to the industrial community on these new, challenging air regulations. Each of these rules has significant requirements and important deadlines that environmental and plant managers must be aware of in order to adequately plan for and maintain compliance.”
