Trinity Consultants Expands New Jersey Team

Trinity Consultants, an international environmental consulting firm that specializes in industrial air quality issues, recently expanded its New Jersey consulting team with the addition of two experienced professionals.

Trinity Consultants, an international environmental consulting firm that specializes in industrial air quality issues, recently expanded its New Jersey consulting team with the addition of two experienced professionals. For more than a decade, Trinity has assisted companies in and around New Jersey with air quality permitting and environmental compliance.

Managing Consultant Michael Trupin recently joined Trinity’s New Jersey team, bringing more than 15 years of experience in air quality and environmental services. He comes to Trinity from North America's largest waste management company where he held several roles including Director of Air Programs, Director of Environmental Protection, and Facility Manager of a single stream processing facility. He possesses a detailed knowledge of air permitting and related strategy development for municipal solid waste landfills, landfill gas collection and control systems, and renewable energy projects. In a previous consulting role, he provided extensive air permitting and compliance assistance to companies in industries including pharmaceuticals, specialty coatings, plastic molding, wastewater treatment, asphalt products, and electrical generation. Mr. Trupin has a B.S. in Earth and Environmental Science from Lehigh University.

Senior Consultant Michael Schaffer brings more than 11 years of air permitting and environmental compliance experience from both consulting and industry. He has managed numerous consulting and permitting projects for an array of industries including the energy sector, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, automotive, aluminum, reinforced plastics, paint production, printing, agriculture, food/beverage, precious metals, and telecommunications. Mr. Schaffer has extensive power sector and utility experience including management of related air compliance and environmental management solutions. He is a meteorologist with a B.S. from Rutgers University.
