While many full-service one-stop record shops have faded away, Tunes continues to get brighter and expand. Now, the fiercely proud and independent chain is having another growth spurt as they open their sixth store and their first Maryland store in Towson, Maryland. Located in the former CDepot at 8639 Loch Raven Boulevard, the new tunes store will be the largest yet at with 3,000 square feet and an expected inventory of more than 50,000 CDs, DVDs & LPs. “We’re pretty excited as we near the end of construction and plan for our grand opening late in May,” said Tunes Co-Owner Anthony Tedeschi. “We can’t wait to open the doors and start bringing our great prices, selection and atmosphere to Maryland and begin meeting all of the music lovers.”
