Turn, the independent ad tech company, today named seasoned industry executive James Fellows its senior vice president of product. He joins Turn from Appia, where he built out a mobile app and advertising ecosystem as chief product officer through the company’s 2015 acquisition by Digital Turbine. Fellows has more than 15 years of product leadership experience, including significant roles at Millennial Media, AOL and Advertising.com.
As SVP of product, Fellows will lead all product development across Turn’s integrated DSP, DMP and analytics platform and will build out new technologies to meet the evolving needs of worldwide marketers.
The appointment comes amid a recent period of growth, refocusing and strong new additions to Turn’s leadership team.
“Our growth is in mobile, video and ‘data-first’ strategies because that’s what our major brand and agency customers want,” said Bruce Falck, CEO, Turn. “Jamie’s experience building cross-device systems and managing large teams makes him ideal to lead this product vision at Turn.”
“Marketers are looking for partners that bring leadership in using data and insights to engage audiences along the entire customer journey,” said James Fellows, SVP of Product, Turn. “Turn is the only independent platform that brings together planning, activation and insights and I can’t wait to help lead an incredible team to build on this further.”
