“Twiin” offers a closer look at just how likely it is for us to have a twin, how much people openly (or secretly!) want to meet their twin and judge the perceived similarities for themselves.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 17, 2016
My Twiin Productions in association with Great Fortune Films premieres docu-reality series pilot, “Twiin,” on CBS46 WGCL-TV Atlanta on Sunday, December 18th, 2016 at 5:00pm.
Inspired by countless stories of running into an acquaintance only to realize it wasn’t him or her and the popular curiosity of wondering whether every person has a look alike ‘somewhere out there,’ the pilot for “Twiin” showcases individuals who look exactly alike, expose their similarities and differences, and put their looks to a trading places test. But, there’s a catch: the two dopplegangers have never met before -- and the public doesn’t know they’re being fooled!
Set in the city or town of the two look alikes, “Twiin” combines truthful re-enactments and personal testimonials for both a conventional and cinematic approach to unfolding the stories of the two individuals. “America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 4 winner and identical twin, Naima Mora, hosts the series and guides the viewers through the social experiment swap and explores what it is like to connect two people from different walks of life that look exactly like. “All audiences will enjoy watching “Twiin” because everyone wonders whether they have a look-a-like. “Twiin” is not a show that focuses on celebrity look alikes, but instead explores the idea that everyone has a look alike. Everyone has experienced seeing a person who looks like a friend, co-worker or family member or has been told that they look just like someone’s friend, co-worker or family member. “Twiin” offers a closer look at just how likely it is for us to have a twin, how much people openly (or secretly!) want to meet their twin and judge the perceived similarities for themselves. Besides connecting complete strangers that look exactly alike, I think the trading places element adds a twist that will draw viewers in to see what happens.” – Antonio Riley, creator and executive producer, Twiin.
“Twiin” will air on CBS46 Atlanta on Sunday, December 18th, 2016 at 5:00pm and an encore presentation will run on Saturday, December 24th, 2016 at 1:30pm. CBS46, also known as Peachtree TV, is available to the metro-Atlanta region, including Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett and DeKalb counties.
