Washington, DC-based technology group, The Cool Blue Company LLC in association with Kevin Powell announces "The Cool Twitter Conferences World Tour" twelfth stop taking place in Brooklyn on Tuesday, October 20th at the MoCADA (Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts) located at 80 Hanson Place, Brooklyn, New York, 11217.

"I am thrilled to partner with Bob Fine and his Cool Twitter Conference in Brooklyn, New York", said Kevin Powell, co-organizer. "With our 2.5 million residents, 100-plus cultural and ethnic groups, and our status as America's 4th largest 'city,' Brooklyn is ripe for rich and provocative discussions about Twitter and the future of social networks on our lives."

The Cool Twitter Conference provides an environment for developers, people in business, and enthusiasts from multiple disciplines, who seek to understand and maximize the power of Twitter, the chance to contribute to the discussion and tap into this real-time use of the web. This forum is ideal for advertising and marketing professionals, business owners looking to increase visibility and improve customer experience, and anyone looking to polish their brand or to become more informed on the subject.

For the uninitiated, Twitter is the free real-time web service that allows millions of users to send frequent, short updates - up to 140 characters - to "followers."

Keynote presenter and founder of AKILA WORKSONGS, Inc., April Silver, expressed that "…a gathering of social media experts who can take the mystery away from this new way of communicating is so needed, especially for Brooklyn's community of movers and shakers. I'm happy to be a part of the Cool Twitter Conference. Kudos to Bob Fine, Kevin Powell, and MoCADA for blazing this path."

In addition to the conference, there will be a "Twitter Beginner Boot Camp" in session from 8:00am - 9:30am, aimed at educating and helping participants to become more familiar with the basics of Twitter and its potential applications.

Organizers are calling for speakers for upcoming conferences, encouraging submission of abstracts from individuals interested in presenting on Twitter. All topics are welcome, including for-profit and non-profit ideas, government, culturally impacting social media applications and development APIs.
