User Friendly Media today announced Greg Garrick has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing. In this newly created role, Garrick will lead User Friendly Media’s marketing strategy, with a focus on brand development for new products, lead generation for the company’s App Express business, and support for User Friendly Media’s print directory business.

Garrick brings to User Friendly Media an impressive background in multi-channel brand development, online customer acquisition, and digital media. Prior to joining User Friendly Media, Garrick was Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Manta Media, where he significantly increased subscription sales through online and offline marketing campaigns.
Previously, Garrick was Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Development at LocalEdge, a Hearst Media Services company, where he managed a team of 25 professionals in 90 markets and spearheaded the company’s digital marketing efforts. Prior to joining LocalEdge, Garrick served in strategy and corporate development for DEX Media, Inc. and led brand strategy at SBC Directory Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from Drake University.
