Camcode is the most experienced UID provider in the marketplace and know more about materials, marking technologies and attachment methods than anyone.

The Camcode Division of Horizons Incorporated, a global leader in barcode solutions for asset tracking and item unique identification (UID) applications, will exhibit at the Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEi) show September 13-16, 2011 in London, England.

This event is the world’s largest biennial land, sea and air defense and security exhibition, bringing together international trade and military experts from across the supply chain. DSEi provides a unique platform for visitors to view the latest equipment and systems from the world’s defense and security industry, as well as an opportunity to develop international relationships and generate new business opportunities.

Camcode’s experience in military labeling dates back to the 1950s, when the U.S. Navy began using Metalphoto® anodized aluminum labels and data plates (from Camcode’s parent Horizons Inc.) on its vessels. Today, Camcode is the most experienced label provider serving the UID market with UID labels to satisfy every need, including tactical applications with a zero-reflection requirement and applications requiring extreme sand and gravel resistance.

“We are the most experienced UID provider in the marketplace and know more about materials, marking technologies and attachment methods than anyone. Our marking materials, including Metalphoto anodized aluminum, are the most specified in the industry and are used on more U.S. Department of Defense equipment than any other material in the world,” said Jon Keserich, Camcode’s Vice President of Sales. “We not only offer a wide and growing variety of UID labels, but our service extends beyond UID marking by also providing UID Registration Services, UID Label Installation Service, and Legacy Program Consultation and System Integration.”

At the event, Camcode will showcase its full line of UID labels and barcode solutions designed for compliance with UID requirements such as MIL-STD-130 and STANAG 2290. Camcode’s selection of UID labels includes popular rigid Metalphoto UID Labels and flexible Foil UID Labels among a wide variety of other durable UID Labels.
