Students receive priority registration and support to accelerate the path to a degree and graduate in just three years.

UNCG in 3 is a perfect fit for adult learners with transferable credit who know what they want to do with their lives and have the drive and the motivation to make it happen.

Today UNCG announced the expansion of UNCG in 3 – a program that provides highly motivated students with the flexible scheduling and support they need to graduate from the University in just three years.

Previously UNCG in 3 was open only to high school seniors with course credits earned through UNCG iSchool or other early college programs. But now adult learners who transfer 12 or more credit hours to the University are also eligible to participate.

“UNCG in 3 is a perfect fit for adult learners with transferable credit who know what they want to do with their lives and have the drive and the motivation to make it happen,” said Steve Roberson, Dean of Undergraduate Studies. “By accelerating the path to a degree, we’re helping them get where they are headed far more quickly.”

To date 17 degree programs spanning a broad range of disciplines have sequenced their courses for UNCG in 3 students – allowing them to get all the classes they need within a three-year window. The University also provides an extensive support system for participants, including priority class registration and a dedicated advisor to ensure all degree requirements are met.
