The Miller Agency Joins the BEAM Organization in Community Wide Charity Drive to Benefit Underprivileged and Low Income Families

The Miller Agency, a Florida-based insurance and financial planning firm that provides services to families and businesses throughout the Florida First Coast region, is embarking on a cooperative charity drive with the BEAM organization in an effort to provide food to underprivileged Florida families.

The Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry, or BEAM, is a nonprofit organization serving low income families in the greater Jacksonville metropolitan area. The BEAM mission is to ensure that no local residents go hungry or are at risk of being evicted. To support these efforts, the organization operates a thrift store and a food pantry supplied in part by food grown locally at BEAM’s Grace Garden facility.

“We’re working with the BEAM organization because we share their commitment to our community, and because we also believe that no families should go hungry or live in fear of being evicted from their home,” says William Miller, founder and director of the Miller Agency.

To publicize the charity event to support BEAM organization efforts in the Jacksonville region, Miller and his professional team are connecting with nearby families and business owners over social media and email. The BEAM Organization is only the first of many charitable causes that the Miller Agency plans to support in the coming months. As part of a permanent charity involvement program called “Agents of Change,” the firm will be working with another area charity every 60 days.
