SimpleSignal, Inc., the leading cloud-based Unified Communications and Collaboration provider for business, has been named in the prestigious Inc. Magazine’s annual 500|5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. SimpleSignal showed significant revenue growth in 2010 and 2011, making the company among the elite few to be named to the list for two consecutive years.
In 2009, Inc Magazine expanded its Inc. 500 list, first introduced in 1982, to include a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the American economy - entrepreneurs. SimpleSignal has earned a spot on the list two out of the three years, sharing pedigree with companies like Yelp, Chobani, Pandora, Zappos, Microsoft and HubSpot.
Dave Gilbert, founder and CEO of SimpleSignal calls the accomplishment amazing and said, “We believe that being included in the Inc. 5000 list two years in a row is the pinnacle of our achievement for the year. It says we accomplished our goal of being one of the best and brightest in a sea of tough competitors.”
In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2012 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 97 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created over 400,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion.
“The industry has seen some tough times over the past few years,” stated Ron Ireland, Chief Financial Officer for SimpleSignal. “Even through the tough times, our channel partners continued to help us pave the way to a second year on the list. This award signifies our partners continued dedication to SimpleSignal, and we are truly grateful to have such a loyal group of agent partners in the field supporting us,” Ireland added.
