New York, NY (PRWEB) December 9, 2008
Unknown Vector, Inc. today announced the release of its Beta 3 version of uvLayer (http://www.uvlayer.com ), the online media experience that allows users and their friends to interact with their favorite videos and photos across multiple social networks, devices, and applications.
Now with Photos
uvLayer's digital media content choices now include photos via Flickr. You can search Flickr's public photos and sample them using the "Import Flickr Interesting Photos". Once you have a collection of pictures, uvLayer has a gallery view that can be enlarged into a full-screen, animated slideshow, for a "lean back" experience.
Enhanced Media Sharing
uvLayer is making it easier for you to share your digital media with your friends in many different contexts.
- Instant Messenger Support - includes Yahoo, MSN, Gadu Gadu, as well as Gtalk, ICQ, AIM and Facebook (Facebook is available in the Adobe AIR download version).
- iPhone and SMS Support - send videos and photos to phones that support Flash based photos and YouTube video playback, e.g iPhone.
- Streamlined Sharing Module - share your whole canvas, all your collections and playlists, with your friends as well as a single collection or piece of media. You can quickly locate and share with your friends using the share module to filter by social network or by user name, therefore rapidly narrowing search results. Frequent media recipients will be automatically sorted into a "My Favorites" group.
Improved User Experience
uvLayer now has an import function for YouTube favorites and playlists, new exciting themes to personalize your uvLayer experience, and many other user requested enhancements.
