We were only a week or so behind on our records, but for some people that can make a big difference. Now records are uploaded and available less than three days after we have access to them.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 10, 2013
Court.us.org has completed an overhaul of their database to make sure that their records are as current as possible, the company said yesterday.
“Sometimes we end up with a backlog of records,” a company spokesman said. “This was leading to a lag when the records were being updated. We've now changed our system so that the records are uploaded more quickly than before.”
The move came after the company received some complaints from customers that the records they were receiving were not as current as they would have liked, he said.
“We were only a week or so behind on our records, but for some people that can make a big difference,” the spokesman stated. “Now records are uploaded and available less than three days after we have access to them.”
Updating the system meant that the company had to hire temporary IT staff, add additional servers, and install new database software.
“It was a major investment in our IT infrastructure,” he said. “But if it causes our customers to have more valuable records, then it is worth it. Whenever we get a complaint from a customer, we try to find a way to resolve it.”
He said the company will monitor the success of the program and do further updates if need be.
“We want to provide the best service to our customers,” he said.
