JJ Kane today announced the addition of 29 pieces of equipment, located in Kent WA, to their May 9th Auction, when over 500 pieces of construction equipment will be sold. This new inventory consists of several well-maintained, low-mileage Chevrolet and Ford Pickups, SUV's and Sport utility vehicles. These items are being sold by Puget Sound Energy as they replace part of their company fleet.
Other equipment auctioned on May 9th will included equipment from companies such as: Duke Energy, Asplundh Tree Expert Co., Area Utility Contractors, National Utility Equipment Company, and Late Model Rental Returns. In addition, there will be equipment from CWG Tree, a Cincinnati contractor who is discontinuing operations and liquidating assets. The auction is live, on-site in Cincinnati, OH and will include over 70 pieces of equipment located in several other states including California, Indiana, Washington, and Nevada.
J.J. Kane is well-known for used bucket truck and heavy equipment auctions. However, their auctions also feature many used light-duty trucks, cars and SUV's. One of the benefits of this auction is that you do not have to be present to participate. Bidding can be done online, saving the cost of travel, and the company will help bidders and sellers through every step of the process.
This is an absolute auction, meaning that everything sells to the highest bidder, regardless of price. There are no minimums or reserves at an absolute auction, and owners are not allowed to bid on equipment they have consigned to the auction. Selling price is determined by the bidders participating in the auction, and no one else. The auction offers direct access to the equipment contractors need, and differs from other auctions in that bidders don’t have to be a dealer to buy. Anyone can register and connect directly with the sellers through J.J. Kane, which allows both parties the ability to exchange equipment at a fair price.
"Our auction company provides the services that are important to buyers and sellers in the way that is most convenient for them. Sellers benefit from a convenient and cost-effective way to sell equipment for competitive market value. Buyers can kick the tires and inspect items personally, or if they prefer, they can make purchases online without the time and expense incurred with travelling to an auction,” says Joe Kane, founder of J.J. Kane Auctioneers.
