User1st Exhibits Automated Web Accessibility Solution at 20th Annual AHG Conference
Westminster, Colorado (PRWEB) November 20, 2017 -- User1st, a web accessibility company, exhibited its automated web accessibility solution at the 20th annual Accessing Higher Ground Conference (AHG) in Colorado. Presented and hosted by the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD), the conference focused on the implementation and benefits of accessible media and information resources. User1st also led a discussion on automated web accessibility testing, regression, and monitoring to conference attendees.
User1st's flagship software bundle, uSuite, is based on the international standards known as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA level. uSuite helps organizations comply with existing legal web accessibility requirements, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. In addition to web accessibility testing and monitoring, uSuite provides tailored accessibility accommodations based on the needs of each individual site visitor without fundamentally altering a site’s source code or design.
“AHG was an amazing platform to meet like-minded individuals committed to breaking down digital barriers faced by people with disabilities. Exhibiting our automated accessibility platform to universities helps ensure a more accessible future for the disabled community,” said Shawn Pike, Vice President at User1st.
User1st also raffled a free, 3-month subscription to uSuite to three conference attendees. The winners will be announced by the end of November.
