US Federal Contractor Registration needs consumers’ votes in order to qualify for a $250,000 grant through the “Mission: Small Business” program hosted by Chase and LivingSocial.
Through June 30th, Chase and LivingSocial have invited small businesses to participate in the program. Businesses must have been in business for at least 2 years and have fewer than 100 employees to enter. In order to be considered for the grant, the business must receive at least 250 votes from consumers by June 30th.
US Federal Contractor Registration is calling upon consumers and business owners to pledge their support for them and other small businesses participating in the grant program. To vote, individuals must log in to the Mission: Small Business website at missionsmallbusiness.com using their Facebook account. They would then search for the business they wish to support (in this case, “US Federal Contractor Registration”) and then click the “Vote” button next to the business’s entry.
US Federal Contractor Registration is a third party registration firm that has helped thousands of small businesses register and market their company in order to secure federal contracts and grants. Their services cover complete mandatory registration such as CCR registration, ORCA filing, FEMA registration, and the upcoming SAM migration, as well as marketing services to help new contractors harness the same tools Fortune 500 companies use to get contracts like capabilities statements, targeted government contracting websites, and recurring bid notification emails.
The $250,000 grant from Mission: Small Business would allow US Federal Contractor Registration to make a significant expansion in both their services and staff. As a job creator and supporter of local small businesses and restaurants, such as expansion would not only benefit US Federal Contractor Registration, but their community in St. Petersburg, FL as well. “Everything we need, we purchase from local businesses. We cater breakfast and lunch for our employees every day from local restaurants, buy our office supplies from nearby stores, and get all of our interior decorating done by local contractors,” explained Eric Knellinger, President of US Federal Contractor Registration. “Our firm is not only a job creator by directly hiring new employees; we help support other local businesses and boost the job market as loyal customers.”
The deadline for voting is set for June 30th, 2012, so supporters will need to hurry in order to cast their votes in time.
Grant recipients will be announced by Chase and LivingSocial by September 15th, 2012.
