SmartWatt Energy, the nationwide leader in direct install energy efficiency programs for utilities, is a sponsor of the 7th Annual Rocky Mountain Utility Efficiency Exchange. This year’s event will be held at the Aspen Meadows Resort in Aspen, CO, October 9-11, 2013.
SmartWatt’s Vice President of Utility Programs, Matt Cinquanti, Director of Business Development-Utility Programs, Art Olson, and Marketing Director, Danielle Marquis, will be in attendance. Marquis will present on Thursday, October 10th during the Focus on Commercial Session Track, on “Encouraging Energy Efficiency Program Participation in the Latino Business Community” along with Gene Mantei from Black Hills Energy. During the presentation, attendees will learn how Black Hills Energy’s Small and Medium-Sized Business Program in Colorado gained the support of the Latino business community. Marquis and Mantei will discuss the partnership that was forged with the Latino Chamber of Commerce, and the integrated marketing plan developed around that partnership.
Rocky Mountain Utility Efficiency Exchange (formerly Colorado Utility Efficiency Exchange) facilitates a networking and professional development conference for staff representatives of energy and water utilities serving Colorado and neighboring states who are responsible for developing and implementing customer programs related to energy/water efficiency, renewable energy, demand response and key account customer management. The agenda focuses on best practices from regional utilities. This conference is not about how to influence policies or motivate utilities to take action, but rather how utilities that already recognize the need and value are developing and implementing customer programs.
