iFreedom Direct is the only VA specialty lender to make Inc. 5000 list

Serving our nation’s veterans with affordable home loans is rewarding, and standing out as a top VA specialty lender is a credit to our caring and dedicated VA mortgage professionals.

iFreedom Direct Corporation, a VA specialty lender headquartered in Salt Lake City, is among the country’s fastest growing, private companies according to Inc.

The entrepreneurial resource magazine, which unveiled its fourth annual Inc. 5000 list on August 24, 2010 ranks companies by overall earnings and growth over a three-year period.

Inc. has been publishing various top-companies lists since 1982. Companies such as Microsoft, Timberland, Visa, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Oracle, Zappos.com, Patagonia, E*Trade and many other well-known companies have been honored by Inc. in past years. Music website Pandora, convenience store chain 7-Eleven, Brooklyn Brewery and Radio Flyer, maker of iconic children’s red wagons, are among the prominent companies on this year’s list.

Atypical of years past, though, is the certain distinction of companies making the Inc. 5000 list for 2010. According to Inc., the companies honored this year were inspiring because of their originality, determination and good business sense during an economic downturn. This year’s Inc. 5000 companies were able to grow despite a rather non-nurturing economic environment.

The current economic downturn has dramatically impacted the mortgage industry; yet, on this year’s Inc. 5000 list are several thriving mortgage lenders. iFreedom Direct Corporation stands out as the only VA specialty lender to be named by Inc. this year.

Many believe that now is one of the best times in history for VA-eligible borrowers to take advantage of their home loan benefits. Even in this challenging economic climate, VA mortgages require zero money down and may have less stringent qualifying standards – two traits that distinguish VA loans from other mortgages for which sizable down payments and strict qualifying standards have been the norm since fall of 2008.

Favorable terms and federal backing have allowed the VA home loan program to emerge recently as the mortgage program with loans less likely to foreclose in a down economy.

iFreedom Direct’s Production Manager, Dave Turville says of the recent placement on the Inc. 5000 list, “We are so honored to be in the good company of those listed on the Inc. 5000. Serving our nation’s veterans with affordable home loans is rewarding, and standing out as a top VA specialty lender is a credit to our caring and dedicated VA mortgage professionals.” For more information about VA mortgages or to learn more about iFreedom Direct, visit http://www.directvaloans.com.
