Vail, Colorado (PRWEB) October 28, 2009
The Vail Academy, located between Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado, has launched the 2009 Vail Home Raffle to raise funds for the school. The economic downturn has made it difficult for non-profits to raise money, so the school board looked to their backyard to meet their financial needs. Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts bring hundreds of thousands of visitors to this Rocky Mountain community, many of whom dream of owning a Vail vacation home. The Vail Academy decided to offer these visitors a chance to win a luxury resort home for a mere $100.
"Times are tough for fundraising, and we needed to think outside the box. We decided to offer a unique, exciting opportunity with mass appeal to raise money for the school. Vail is recognized around the world as a premier vacation destination. The chance to win a Vail home is of interest to almost everyone." says Steve Michonski, treasurer of The Vail Academy Board of Directors and organizer of the home raffle.
The grand prize drawing will occur on December 31, 2009. Two early-bird cash drawings make it advantageous to enter the raffle as soon as possible. These are scheduled for November 4th and December 4th, 2009. If a participant enters the raffle prior to November 2, their ticket(s) is eligible for all drawings, regardless if they win a prize in one of the early-bird drawings. In addition, there is a $12,500 drawing for individuals who refer participants, and a $25,000 award for whoever refers the Grand Prize winner. Referrals can be made through the raffle website or on the entry forms. To enter, go to the Win a Vail Home Raffle website or call 1-866-638-9488.
