To celebrate the arrival of this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek resort is presenting a holiday hors d’oeuvres demonstration on Thursday, November 18 from 5:00p.m. to 6:30p.m. at 8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill. The cost is $10 and includes samplings of hors d’oeuvres and this season’s Beaujolais Nouveau.    

Guests are invited to watch and sample as 8100’s acclaimed chef de cuisine, Pascal Coudouy, demonstrates how to prepare easy and elegant holiday appetizers that can be completed before guests arrive, keeping holiday entertaining stress free. Approximately five different recipes will be demonstrated, ranging from stuffed crepes to goat cheese and potato cakes.

The evening coincides with the arrival of this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau to the Vail resort . On the third Thursday of each November, more than a million cases of Beaujolais Nouveau begin their journey through France to Paris for immediate shipment to all parts of the world. By the time it is over, more than 65 million bottles, nearly half of the region's total annual production, will be distributed and consumed around the world.
