San Ramon, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) February 07, 2011
This Valentine’s Day couples can enjoy a romantic dinner at The Bridges Golf Course Clubhouse. Sweethearts will savor a gourmet, three-course meal prepared by Chef Tom Hout, with seating available at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. In a relaxed atmosphere with views overlooking the first six fairways of the Champion Golf Course, lovers dine in comfort, intimacy, and style.
“Valentine’s dinner at The Bridges is an intimate gathering for those who truly want to enjoy each other’s company in the glow of a warm fireplace,” said Alan Buetow, Food and Beverage manager. “We keep seatings small so that guests feel more at home than in a crowded restaurant.”
Dinner will begin with a choice of lobster corn bisque, Fog Hollow Farms organic greens served in a sesame wonton cone with mango vinaigrette and candied hazelnuts, or slow-roasted duck ravioli served open-faced with shitake mushrooms and scallions in a lemon grass broth.
Entrée selections include Moroccan spiced chicken breast, braised and served with red Himalayan rice and garlic broccolini, pan-seared Costa Rican sea bass with saffron jasmine rice and a lemon pomegranate sauce, or grilled beef tenderloin topped with green peppercorns and cognac served with truffle whipped potatoes and grilled asparagus.
Couples conclude the fine-dining experience by indulging their sweet tooth, with a choice between white chocolate and fresh berry truffle and warm molten chocolate cake for dessert.
The Bridges Clubhouse Valentine’s Day three-course prix-fixe menu is now available for $99 per couple, tax and gratuity not included. Bridges members receive 10% off this special offer.
The Clubhouse is also the perfect retreat after a game of golf, offering an indoor restaurant and full bar, casual outdoor patios and a Mediterranean-style Garden Pavilion for banquets and events. Featuring a delicious California cuisine, the restaurant offers a complete dining facility open Monday through Friday, as well as Saturday and Sunday for brunch.
