eSeats CEO Bob Bernstein said “in the last 10 years in the ticket business, this is the first time a broker has failed to provide eSeats with its purchased tickets”.

Today, eSeats.com reports initiating a lawsuit in Georgia against Action Seating CIVIL ACTION FILE NO. 10CV-0257, the company at the center of the recent Olympic Ticket debacle affecting thousands of customers planning to attend the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver BC. Action Seating, a licensed ticket wholesaler based in the state of Georgia, has allegedly breached its contract with eSeats.com and other ticket distributors and customers who purchased Vancouver Olympic tickets through Action Seating.

Action Seating lists their ticket inventory on established broker-to-broker exchanges such as Event Inventory (owned by Ticketmaster) and Ticket Network Direct. Brokers like eSeats.com rely on the validity and authenticity of this inventory when they resell tickets to their customers. Over the course of the last twelve months, eSeats and other ticket distributors followed ordinary business practices in contracting with Action Seating to purchase Vancouver Olympic tickets for their customers.

As a long-standing member of the National Association of Ticket Brokers and an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau, eSeats.com has worked hard to treat customers fairly and employs the highest ethical standards in its business practices. eSeats CEO Bob Bernstein said “in the last 10 years in the ticket business, this is the first time a broker has failed to provide eSeats with its purchased tickets”.

eSeats is aggressively pursuing all available legal remedies to bring relief to its customers affected by tickets purchased from Action Seating as a ticket supplier. In addition eSeats is exploring all available means to find replacement tickets or refund monies paid by its customers for Olympic tickets purchased through Action Seating.

Bob Bernstein stated: “The Action Seating debacle only affects eSeats customers whose Olympic ticket orders were filled through Action Seating. These customers have been advised of the problem and eSeats is working with these customers to make alternative ticket arrangements. As an industry leader in the retail sale of premium tickets, eSeats.com values the long-term relationships it has with its customers."

Founded in 2001 eSeats.com sells concert sports and theater tickets to events worldwide. For more information please visit http://www.eSeats.com.
