Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) October 19, 2011
Vatterott College is hosting an outdoor family event to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the school’s parking lot.
The carnival-inspired event will feature a moonwalk, a fire truck, a clown, karaoke and soft drinks. The “charge” for admission is one canned food item which will go to local food bank.
Vatterott College program directors will be on hand to give tours of the campus. The event is a volunteer activity of the college’s staff and faculty to celebrate the community.
“Vatterott College is proud of its tradition of community service. We are committed to helping local organizations and this year our Fall Fling will benefit the people in need who are served by the Regional Food Bank,” said David Gordon, campus director at Vatterott College in Oklahoma City. “A can of food is a small admission price, but with a lot of participation from the community and our students and faculty, it adds up to a real contribution to the food bank.”
The Fall Fling will be held at the new campus location of Vatterott College, located at 5537 NW Expressway, Warr Acres, OK, 73132. For further information, call Vatterott at 405-310-7240.
