Family, friends, faculty and staff of Vancouver Career College’s Lower Mainland campuses will gather on Saturday, May 8, 2010 to recognize the achievements of the graduating class of 2010 at the Bell Centre for Performing Arts in Surrey, BC.
Graduates from the college’s six Lower Mainland campuses span a range of career fields, such as healthcare, business, education, legal studies, hospitality and skilled trades.
“For these students, graduation marks the end of their journey with us,” says Victor Tesan, Vancouver Career College’s Vice President of Operations, “but it is also a stepping stone into careers. They’ve all worked hard to earn their credentials and they’re all success stories.”
Vancouver Career College will hold morning and afternoon graduation ceremonies this year. Seating for the morning ceremony, which celebrates graduates from Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Coquitlam, begins at 10:00am, with the ceremony starting promptly at 10:30am. Graduates of the Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver campuses will be honoured at the afternoon ceremony. Seating begins at 4:00pm and the ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm.
The Vancouver Career College graduation ceremonies will be held at the Bell Centre for Performing Arts, 6250 144th Street in Surrey. Both ceremonies are open to the public. A short reception will follow each ceremony.
