Experience with Cutco/Vector is the best preparation I can imagine for a successful career

Justin submitted a business plan he wrote regarding his Vector Marketing sales business to a contest sponsored by the St. Boniface Chamber. A comity for the Chamber recognized Gregoire's plan as the most viable and plausible one they received for its elements such as recruiting, sales and hiring key staff. They awarded him $500 for his efforts.
Mr. Gregoire, who is studying in Business Administration and majoring in Management of Organizations, is not at all surprised that his business plan won top honors. As he puts it, "The Cutco/Vector program gives you the basic elements to succeed at anything."
Justin began his Cutco/Vector career as a sales representative four years ago and is opening his own district sales office in Winnipeg this summer.
Cutco Cutlery is the largest kitchen cutlery manufacturer in North America and sells its products through a national network of college students, who sell through in-home personal demonstrations.
Cutco's sales arm, Vector Marketing, trains more than 40,000 students per year. The training program instructs students on a wide range of skills related to sales and business, including:
-- Building immediate rapport with customers
-- Setting/achieving goals
-- Understanding consumer behavior
-- Time management
-- Demonstrating product advantages
-- Overcoming objections
-- Assisting customers with service requests
-- Building self-confidence
-- Team building
-- Communications skills
"Experience with Cutco/Vector is the best preparation I can imagine for a successful career," says Justin proudly.
