The program aims to inform medical professionals, and the hundreds of millions of people affected by ADHD, about the ongoing clinical and scientific advances that have transformed clinicians' understanding of ADHD. This CME-accredited program, "ADHD--Current Concepts and Future Developments," will feature nationally renowned ADHD faculty presenting their research on the neuropathology, neurobiology, heritability, environmental persistence, and co-morbidity of ADHD, and the psychotherapeutic and pharmacological treatment of ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults. ADHD affects approximately three to five percent of children, with symptoms persisting in 75 percent of adolescents and 50 to 60 percent of adults. Approximately 7 million individuals are currently diagnosed with ADHD, however many cases go undiagnosed due to the difficulty in diagnosing the disease.

In addition to being broadcast live on November 13 and 14, this educational event sponsored by an independent medical educational grant from Lilly USA, LLC, and Shire will be available in the future for CME credit on http://www.VeoMed.com/apsard.
