Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) February 4, 2009
Vertex Standard Co. Ltd. has announced its newest portable radio designed to deliver a greater return on investment for two-way radio users. The new VX-230 portable radio series offers wider band coverage and more signaling features in a smaller size than previous models, including the VX-160 series.
The newest addition to the Vertex Standard portfolio of two-way radios, the VX-230 Series is available for purchase from authorized North American Vertex Standard dealers. The VX-231 two-way radio is the first product in the VX-230 Series and includes large capacity Lithium-ion battery power for nine hours of battery life with the 1150 mAh battery or 16 hours with the 2000 mAh battery.
"The Vertex Standard VX-230 Series was designed specifically to meet the demands of users for whom two-way radios are a critical tool for day-to-day efficiency and overall profitability," said Craig Chenicek, Vertex Standard Vice President, Worldwide Channel Distribution. "Compact and easy to use, the VX-231 radio enables consistent communications in any environment, thereby helping to keep operations on schedule, maximize job shift productivity and enhance security."
Designed specifically for commercial and industrial users, the VX-231 portable two-way radio has 16 channel capacity, emergency and lone worker signaling as well as DTMF ANI and DTMF Speed Dial. The frequency ranges are 134 - 174 MHz (in one radio, no sub-bands) and 450 - 512 MHz (in one radio, no sub-bands). The VX-231 radio has more scanning options built-in, including: priority, dual watch, follow me and talk around scan.
As with all Vertex Standard products, the VX-230 series is backed with a full 3-year warranty.
