With Moving Station®, Vi prospective residents won't have to face the challenges of selling their home alone.

Vi, the developer, owner and operator of older adult living communities, is providing free to prospective residents of its continuing care retirement communities the services of Moving Station®. The Senior Division of Moving Station® offers specialized assistance with the most common yet debilitating obstacle seniors encounter once they decide to move to a retirement community – the challenge of selling their home.
“We know the housing downturn has caused many seniors to delay a move to a retirement community because of the challenges involved in selling their home,” said Bill Sciortino, Vi’s Senior Vice President of Operations. “With Moving Station®, Vi’s prospective residents won’t have to face these challenges alone.”
Moving Station® claims to have proven results in selling homes faster than the national average. For example, according to the latest analysis, Vi prospects assisted by Moving Station® sold their homes on average 83 days faster than the national average, in 77 vs. 160 days.
Moving Station® real estate experts also offer prospective Vi residents services that include market analysis, home staging recommendations, on-target assessment of home market value and proficiency in pricing and marketing of a home.
Moving Station® is only one of several Vi Moving Services offered to prospective Vi residents. Other services include space planning and interior design, simplified downsizing, moving assistance and move-in support. Additional fees may apply for select services.
CCRCs offer independent living with a combination of a private residence, services, amenities and care (for example, assisted living, memory support care and skilled nursing care). Vi operates 10 CCRCs and one rental community under a family of brands nationwide.
Late last year, Vi commissioned a report by Ken Dychtwald Ph.D., renowned gerontologist, psychologist, best-selling author, and CEO of Age Wave that challenges the “prevailing myths and misperceptions” about CCRC living. The report, “The Five Myths and Realities of Continuing Care Retirement Communities,” is available in its entirety at http://www.ViLiving.com.
Vi, formerly Classic Residence by Hyatt, was founded in 1987 as a developer, owner and operator of older adult living communities. The company is dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults by providing quality environments, services and care. Vi currently operates ten continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and one rental community under a family of brands nationwide.
