(Nasdaq:VSAT) is experiencing high demand for its LinkStar® DVB-S2 satellite communication system with shipments totaling over 9,000 terminals for 35 networks worldwide since its introduction one year ago. Applications include shared hub services, equity trading, banking, education, oil and gas operations, Voice over IP (VoIP), military communications, GSM backhaul, and digital movie distribution.
