June 29, 2011 marks the launch of New York Shop Exchange's $10,000 slogan contest. Officially branded as a Video Marketing powerhouse, New York Shop Exchange is placing the responsibility of their slogan into the public's hands.

For the past few months, New York Shop Exchange has gained followers on their Facebook fan page in the wake of their daily iPad giveaways in anticipation of the official launch of their video marketing website last month. Recently, an iPad was awarded to the father of a Facebook fan who posted a video illustrating why he deserved to win such a generous gift for Father’s Day. The response from fans was overwhelming, and last week they announced that in honor of the men and women who are serving our country, they will donate a brand new 64G iPad to one lucky member of the military this Fourth of July.

But the team behind New York Shop Exchange has upped the ante even more: today marks the opening day of their much-anticipated slogan contest. Whoever creates a slogan that perfectly captures the essence of what their company is all about will be awarded a $10,000 cash prize. Over the course of the next month, contestants vying for the jackpot will be able to submit their slogans directly through the company’s website. By re-posting their slogan on social networking websites, each contestant’s friends -- as well as fans of New York Shop Exchange -- are then able to vote for their favorites.

“Our slogan contest is something we are extremely excited about,” says Marcia Hawkins, President and CEO of New York Shop Exchange. “By allowing the public to choose the winning submissions, our new slogan will be an authentic reflection of what New York Shop Exchange really is: a unique video marketing platform that allows small business owners and online sellers to truly connect with their customers like never before.”

Contestants are encouraged to visit the New York Shop Exchange website to get started. Contestants may enter up to three (3) slogans during the course of the contest (one per week). The contest has officially opened as of this morning, and will close at 11:59 pm EST on July 29, 2011.
