SAE Institute’s Miami campus has launched new videos on SAE USA’s SAEtv channel. The videos are part of SAEtv’s “Student Spotlight” and “Behind the Mix” series.
“The students who we interview in ‘Student Spotlight’ are recent graduates who are already off and running with their careers,” says SAE Miami Campus Director Marcella Holness. “They’re all entrepreneurial, focused, and highly creative. They credit our superb faculty and facilities for their successes, as well as their ability to network and collaborate with fellow students.
“Our ‘Behind the Mix’ series offers a fascinating look at exclusive seminars that we offer to our students. The essential tips and guidance that our guest speakers share about the recording industry and their own professional journeys give our students powerful insights to help them navigate their careers once they graduate.”
SAE Miami’s videos on SATtv include episodes of “Student Spotlight”, which present profiles of talented SAE students and their projects, such as:
- DJ/producer duo and recent SAE Miami graduates Rafael Pagan and Juan Carlos Fred (aka Lycan Instinct)
- EDM songwriter/recording artist and July ‘15 SAE Miami graduate Beat Nick (launching 8/20)
- Vocalist/cellist/recording artist and July ‘15 SAE Miami graduate Myra Monoka
Other video additions include new episodes of SAE Miami’s “Behind the Mix”, a seminar featuring guest artists, mixers, engineers, and producers who visit the school’s campus, such as:
- Platinum-selling songwriter/producer Krunk-A-Delic (Jamie Foxx, Nelly Furtado, Elton John, Ludacris, Sean Paul, Jennifer Hudson) and vocalist Zenya Bashford (Justin Timberlake, Booker T. Jones, Alabama Shakes, Sam Moore, Cyndi Lauper)
- SAE Miami graduate and Grammy-winning engineer Gary Bannister
“The videos that we post on SAEtv capture the excitement of the SAE educational experience as well as the career preparation value that it delivers,” says SAE Miami Career Development & Industry Engagement Director Mark Samuels. “The impressive students who we speak with in ‘Student Spotlight’ share examples of how our curriculum and approach have helped their careers to develop and flourish, and ‘Behind the Mix’ gives an inside look at how our guest presenters’ expertise inspires, informs, and energizes our students.”
