ViewHue's service gives people a new opportunity to share online what they really think, be heard by a broad public and get feedback. In the process ViewHue diligently protects their online privacy and reputation.
The site features stream of incoming posts without author attribution, which are evaluated and discussed by a community. It allows to prioritize objectively best content, not content written by the most popular authors. Everyone can be heard without gathering large friends or followers audience of their own. Community moderation ensures maintainance of morality and high quality standards of content.
Privacy is maintained by limiting the information known about content authors by the system and readers. Currently ViewHue asks users only for email, which is kept strictly private and is used for spam and fraud protection, notifications about responses and accounting of each respective author’s content. But it is never shown to anyone. No names or even nicknames, no addresses, no photos or videos - all these could have been used with malicious intents.
ViewHue uses passwordless authorization scheme, which is based on one-time sign in links sent via email. No passwords to forget, steal or bruteforce. The only concern of users is keeping their email safe.
Unlike most other websites, ViewHue does not keep logs of users movements around the site. Only the content attribution is kept internally, but it is available only to the respective author and nobody else. Special versions of sharing buttons does not allow major social networks to track users movements around ViewHue either.
All connections between users and ViewHue are encrypted with HTTPS to prevent interception by third-parties. It is implemented the same way as on major online banking services and e-commerce sites. Email addresses of users are also stored in securely encrypted way in order to prevent leaks in case of hacker or insider attacks.
Thus ViewHue, the anonymous thoughts sharing community, offers an unique opportunity for people to publicly say online what they really think without any risks of affecting their reputation either public or between relatives and friends. Protecting author’s privacy is a top priority for ViewHue.
ViewHue is an anonymous thoughts sharing web service dedicated to maintaining online privacy and giving a virtual microphone to everyone who has something worthy to say. I was launched on 1st of June 2012.
