VigLink lets CloudFlare site owners seamlessly earn revenue when their users click on the outbound links within their content.
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 25, 2011
VigLink, the service that allows site owners to easily earn money from their site content, today announced it has partnered with CloudFlare to deliver its content monetization capabilties as a CloudFlare App. CloudFlare makes sites twice as fast, protects them from attacks, ensures they are always online, and makes it simple to add web apps with a single click. CloudFlare Apps will bring the web’s leading apps into a single marketplace where they can be activated through CloudFlare without any code changes.
CloudFlare’s CEO and co-founder, Matthew Prince, shared a brief demonstration of the structure and vision for CloudFlare Apps at TechCrunch Disrupt New York this morning. He announced that the marketplace will go live on June 1st.
“We are excited to offer VigLink to our customers who are interested in earning additional revenue from their websites,” said Prince. “VigLink lets CloudFlare site owners seamlessly earn revenue when their users click on the outbound links within their content. Plus, our easy one-click implementation means no extra coding or maintenance time is required."
“VigLink is focused on making affiliate marketing with the top online merchants easily accessible to every website owner,” said Oliver Roup, CEO and founder of VigLink. “Our partnership with CloudFlare, and the upcoming release of the CloudFlare App, will make it easier than ever to deploy VigLink for CloudFlare customers.”
The VigLink CloudFlare App will be the first application to be made available during the month of June to CloudFlare users. The app will be available June 1st at cloudflare.com/apps/.
VigLink offers a suite of content monetization tools that allow online publishers to earn money via the "outclicks" on their site. With the addition of a single snippet of code publishers enjoy instant access to top online merchants and a share of the revenue their outbound links generate.
VigLink is backed by Google Ventures, First Round Capital, Emergence Capital and SoftTech VC. Notable individual investors include LinkedIn Founder Reid Hoffman and former Google executive and current LinkedIn VP of Product Deep Nishar.
