Vintage wedding themes are the second most popular wedding trend
Lane End, Buckinghamshire (PRWEB) April 25, 2013
Buckinghamshire-based wedding venue The Pavilion at Lane End now offers a Vintage Wedding Experience to be booked as part of its wedding packages.
The Pavilion has joined forces with local supplier BlueSky Vintage China and Bunting to launch the Vintage Wedding Experience.
Vintage wedding themes are the second most popular wedding trend, according to Bridal Guide magazine.
The magazine reviewed nearly 3,000 Pinterest inspiration boards and the top five trends were identified from nearly 8,400 reader votes.
“The trend for vintage wedding receptions is no surprise — there's just something that feels so romantic about adding old-world items and antiques to your big day,“ writes Kristen O'Gorman Klein in Bridal Guide magazine.
There is a choice of three specially designed wedding packages available to be booked at The Pavilion wedding venue at Lane End – Silver, Gold or Platinum.
The Silver package includes a three-course wedding breakfast, drinks package, evening buffet and exclusive venue hire. The Gold and Platinum packages also include wedding cake, flowers and chair covers.
The following upgrade options are available to create a Vintage Wedding Experience at Bucks wedding venue The Pavilion.
- Vintage Dinner Service – includes dinner plates, side plates, dessert plates, serving dishes and sauce boats.
- Vintage Tea Party – includes trios, cake plates, sandwich platters, cake stands, teapots, milk jugs and sugar bowls.
- Vintage Dinner and Tea Party – Guests will enjoy the main meal served on vintage crockery followed by after dinner tea and coffee with party trios, teapots, coffee pots, milk jugs and sugar bowls.
Pavilion Sales and Marketing Manager Heni Fourie said: “We are delighted with the quality of vintage crockery we get from BlueSky Vintage China and Bunting.
“Everything is so well preserved and it really creates the most romantic ambience,” he added.
A fine selection of vintage crockery will be displayed at The Pavilion’s next wedding venue open day on Sunday, October 6 2013.
The wedding open day will include displays from suppliers that contribute to The Pavilion’s selection of wedding packages.
The main Pavilion room will be fully set for a wedding breakfast with flowers, wedding cake, chair covers and now also vintage crockery.
The Pavilion is set in 26 acres of Buckinghamshire countryside with views of the rolling Chiltern Hills and perfect for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies.
This popular wedding venue is just outside Marlow and one of only a few venues in Buckinghamshire licensed to host both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies.
The Pavilion is also a popular venue among local businesses for Buckinghamshire-based Christmas parties.
This year’s Christmas party theme is 007 Licence To Party with decor provided by Chordiem Events.
The party package includes a glass of Kir Royal on arrival, three-course menu, plenty of party novelties, crackers, disco and cash bar until 1am.
Decor includes giant martini glasses as centre pieces with plenty of glitter, playing cards, starry backdrop, room lighting and 2D pop up images.
The venue can be booked for exclusive groups of up to 130 and a minimum of 50 guests. Smaller parties are available in the adjacent Wycombe Lodge building. Christmas lunch parties can be hosted in both buildings.
The Pavilion is ideally located just outside Marlow and High Wycombe with easy access from the M40 and M4. In total the venue has 104 en-suite bedrooms. It also provides a taxi booking service.
