Viscern, Inc. announces it has brought on three new executives to provide leadership to the firm and advance the expansion of services. Viscern is a Dallas-based firm serving the not-for-profit sector as the parent company of Ketchum and RSI, two of the most distinguished consulting organizations in philanthropic and religious fundraising.

"We are in a time of focused growth that will enable us to serve our clients with more energy, expertise, and ingenuity. New leaders with fresh thinking and sound experience will help accelerate our goal of being the select provider of the not-for-profit community,” says Viscern CEO Richard Blackmon.

Viscern companies date back to 1919 when Ketchum was founded and 1973 when RSI was founded. Through its two firms, Ketchum and RSI, Viscern is currently serving 1,500 clients seeking to raise more than $6 billion.

Derek Sharp joins Viscern as the Executive Vice President for Corporate Development. Derek is a graduate of Texas A & M University and Dartmouth College. After graduating with his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth, he worked for Bain & Company, a leading global management consulting firm. Derek was later recruited to EDS where he served in a number of capacities over several years including Director of Corporate Strategy and Client Executive for EDS’ American Airlines account. Most recently, Derek was the Sales and Business Development leader for EDS for the Asia market.

Mike Marino joins Viscern as the Chief Operating Officer for RSI Church Stewardship Group and RSI Institutional Services Group. He has over seven years of professional services experience at Ernst and Young and at Prime Consulting Group. In addition to his management consulting background, he spent sixteen years at Frito Lay where he oversaw complex change programs, launched new products and introduced new capability platforms, including sales training curriculums and customer management approaches.

Bruce Cramer joins Viscern as the Chief Operating Officer for Ketchum and RSI Catholic Services Group. Bruce has over 13 years of experience leading large and small professional services organizations. Bruce currently lives in Houston where he manages the Marathon Oil Account for EDS, including finance, sales, contract compliance and general management. Prior to EDS, he led an operations team of 100 people at Jobs.com during the rapid growth of the dot-com era. He also rose rapidly at Ernst and Young, managing numerous client projects and relationships.

“Everyone at Viscern is excited that Derek, Mike, and Bruce have joined the Viscern family. Their contribution to the team will enable us to advance the mission of our clients more effectively,” remarks CEO Blackmon.
