Every form of media struggles to find a relevant, day-to-day measurement system for brand advertisers. Vizu has cracked the code for digital media

Vizu Corporation today released Ad Catalyst, an online brand advertising measurement system that finally brings a relevant brand campaign performance metric to publishers, agencies and advertisers.

The Vizu Ad Catalyst real-time brand advertising measurement system is currently used every day to track brand ad effectiveness for numerous clients including leading publishers, digital agencies, and high-profile consumer brands.

Ad Catalyst provides a rich set of brand advertising data that measures advertising induced changes in key customer perceptions and intentions. This data is delivered through a sophisticated, easy to use dashboard in real-time. As a result, marketers can reliably and regularly measure return-on-investment for online brand advertising campaigns for the first time.

In one of the most ambitious applications of Ad Catalyst, Vizu is collaborating with leading online ad network and technology provider Collective Media to give clients broad insights into their online brand advertising investments.

"Given our focus and attention on brand advertisers it's imperative for Collective Media to provide ad effectiveness metrics beyond impressions and clicks," said Joe Apprendi, CEO of Collective Media. "Vizu not only provides the kind of intelligence and measurement reporting that brand advertisers expect, they deliver the results in near real-time."

Vizu measures the performance of online brand advertising campaigns, using brand lift as the metric rather than click-through rates which are generally inappropriate for brand building campaigns. This brand focus separates Ad Catalyst from other online advertisement measurement technologies with roots in direct response advertising.

"Every form of media struggles to find a relevant, day-to-day measurement system for brand advertisers. Vizu has cracked the code for digital media," Alan Patricof, founder and managing director of Greycroft. "We're excited to be working with the Vizu team and look forward to continuing the initial momentum we've seen with Ad Catalyst."

Major online publishers and networks typically use Ad Catalyst to drive sales by attracting and retaining brand advertisers with relevant performance metrics, best practices and norms. Agencies use Ad Catalyst to make their media buying as efficient and effective as possible for their clients and to provide advertising return-on-investment analysis.

When used across ad campaigns on a regular basis, Ad Catalyst provides publishers and digital agencies with a unique way to understand important trends that allow them to improve their ad product offerings, packaging and media buying.

"Ad Catalyst significantly advances online advertising measurement in a scalable way - the result of our work with leading publishers and advertisers," said Dan Beltramo, co-founder and CEO of Vizu. "Our focus on online brand advertising effectiveness gives advertisers the confidence to spend their marketing dollars online."

Ad Catalyst is available now and is sold on a per-campaign or subscription basis.
